Have ever you said ''I don't want to go through this again'' I said. When I was in university in Turkey. I was prepring some research assigments about Turkish folklore. Those were fabls, myths, some legends, and lots of things about life style of rural area's people. In fact sometimes I was going to cemeteries to translate ancient gravestones from Ottoman Turkish to current Turkish. I had to go to some villages to research. I confronted with some difficult positions. Some of the people were trating me as if i was a weird person, a spy or somebody like that. They usually weren't telling me anything but I was going for broke to get somethings from those people becuse I had to do my best for pass that class. I have prepared four project for four semesters, and I achieved a good job. At the end of the last semester I said I don't want to go through this again! But I think these are all good and useful experiences for me, and These were funny things though. I wish I could research American folklore too.
The projects you worked on sound really fascinating. I'm sure they got a little tedious after doing them for so long, but I'm sure you had many wonderful experiences and met some unusual people. I hope you have an opportunity to do something similar again sometime.
