I have been studying for almost 17 years. I can remember my first day at school, I was in 7 years old and I was so nervous. We were wearing blue uniforms. That year was 1993 and probably we were in September, and that day was a foggy Monday. I had a little blue bag that there was a Hugo family picture on it:). Sometimes I think about my elementary school days, and I miss those days because I was a little kid and I had not realized gravity of life and world yet.
When my foots step on ground(This is a Turkish idiom ) I was in last class of high school and I was preparing to university entry exams. Finally I had taken a point that good enough for my best department in university. Eventually university life had finished too. Anymore I'm a Turkish Literature Teacher but I have been living for 5 months in USA and learning English... 'What a destiny' Let me see what is going to happen rest of my life.....

I think people realize how wonderful childhood is once they become adults and life gets hard. When we are children, we don't realize how simple and easy life is at that time for us.
ReplyDeleteI think you are not the only person that thinks about "what can happen the rest of the life". The time pass so fast... I have a thinkg: Do the things that you really have to do and try to do the best that you cant. =D

ReplyDeleteIt's been 11 years, my GOD! At the and of 2009 i letf USA and i am in Turkey now. I took my master and im still taking my phd. I got married. I have 2 beautiful daughters. Im working in one of the best univ. as a lecturer. So lets see what am i gonna be in 2031 :D by the way i miss Long Island tooooo much.
